National Grid Site Dilapidation Works, West Bromwich

The works included full strip out, formation of offices toilets and welfare facilities, complete redecoration including steelwork, and repairs to external works. Throughout the contract we worked closely with the Mechanical and Electrical contractor to ensure close collaboration to meet the end date. There was a landlords break clause in place so meeting the end date was critical, with LAD’s apportioned to the contractors accordingly.

Throughout the project we were required to liaise with the clients QS to ensure tight control of project finances including interim applications and keeping a detailed variation account.

To work on a National Grid site, our operatives were required to be CSCS cardholders and had to undergo an extensive induction.
